Chicago Pizza Frozen Pizza

The same homemade sauces and sausage. Not a single additive or preservative. It's how we've done it ever since we opened our original pizzeria on Chicago's South Side. Consider it our family's way of bringing our history home to your family. Garlic Parmesan Fries topped with Six Boneless Wings, marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. Made with pecans, pineapple, cinnamon and chocolate chips.

We suspect business is mostly takeout orders, which come out the back door near the parking lot. There isn't much neighborhood parking, but street parking is available. All-in-all it was a 3-star adventure. Peppadew drizzle, garlic bread wedges, carrot sticks, celery sticks and cucumber slices. Add extra veggies or extra garlic bread for additional charge.

SUPER FRIES

Turkey sausage, plum tomato, spinach and sauteed mushroom over a garlic butter crust. Rich dark Ghirardelli chocolate cupcake with chocolate chips, topped with creamy mousse and chocolate fudge. An ultra-buttery yellow cake below a sweet and creamy gooey layer of goodness. Topped with vanilla cream and toffee bits. Home Run Inn frozen pizzas use the same, exact recipes that we use in our nine Chicagoland pizzerias.

Cavatelli pasta served in a decadent sauce of extra sharp cheddar, fontina and Parmesan cheeses. Rigatoni pasta served with your choice of meat, marinara, Alfredo or tomato cream sauce. Parmesan cream sauce served over rigatoni. Topped with your choice of grilled or crispy chicken. Grilled chicken, golden BBQ sauce, crispy bacon and caramelized onion.

BONELESS WINGS

Romaine blend with praline pecans and sliced strawberries, tossed with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Ketchup, mustard, pickles, lettuce and tomato, served on a classic golden bun. Grilled artichoke hearts, roasted garlic, spinach and Parmesan over white wine cream. Double the pepperoni - baked over and under the cheese.

The pizza was pretty good - we had a Nick's Super Pizza . The drinks were better than average, and they had a tip-top person running the bar. The ambiance was nice but the restaurant was crowded, and the dining room was very loud.

CORONA EXTRA

Apple-wood smoked thick-cut bacon, crispy onion straws and bleu cheese sauce served on a grilled pretzel roll. Crispy chicken breast sandwich topped with spicy Buffalo sauce and crispy onion straws drizzled with a cool ranch dressing. Fresh cavatelli pasta, served in a decadent sauce of extra sharp cheddar, fontina and Parmesan, topped with garlic bread crumbs. Load up your Mac N’ Cheese with bacon for extra charge.

Of tenders served with your choice of Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ or ranch. HRI Pizza is not a gluten-free facility. We advise anyone with Celiac Disease or wheat/gluten allergies to please use caution when consuming these products.

Above all, Home Run Inn is a proud, family-owned business—one with deep roots in the city of Chicago. In 1923, the original Home Run Inn location opened as a small tavern on Chicago’s South Side. In 1947, after that baseball made history, Mary and her son-in-law, Nick Perrino, crafted the iconic Chicago pizza recipe known today. To simply start Quentin was amazing and have an amazing spirit. This was my first time at this location, and my family and I had an amazing experience. But Quentin's attention to details and service was simply amazing.

Home Run Inn's signature roasted beef piled high on a freshly baked French roll. Served dipped or dry with au jus on the side. Add cheese and Make it a Chicago Style Combo with Italian Sausage for extra charge. Diced zucchini and yellow squash, fresh basil, tomato and Italian seasoning.

Wings / Chicken

Tossed with garlic Parmesan sauce, Romano cheese and served with marinara for dipping. Romaine blend with Caesar dressing, garbanzo beans, bacon, Parmesan cheese and croutons. Coated in Buffalo sauce, with bleu cheese crumbles, ranch drizzle and scallions.

Pretty nice pizza joint that is an offspring of the original down on 31st Street just off Pulaski in Chicago. They have grown from the 31st Street location to about 9 locations in the greater Chicagoland area. This location was nice and had the Home Run Inn taste, but just wasn't as good as the original. The 109th Street restaurant shows a much wider menu offering ... Adding stuff like chicken wings and the like.
